  1. June 2nd, 7:00pm - 9:30pm Green House Swing Dance Social
    The Green House, 505 E Washington St, Iowa City, IA 52240
    Meet us for a drink and a spin around the dance floor. Come to enjoy a relaxed evening of dance, drinks, and connecting with friends. We will DJ music to dance lindy hop and other swing dances. All (safe & respectful) dance moves are welcome.

    A beginner swing lesson will be taught at 7pm, followed by the social dance at 7:30. No partner or experience required.

    There is no charge for this event. Please plan to purchase drinks from our generous host and tip well!

    Public Space One (South), 538 S Gilbert St, Iowa City, IA 52240
    No experience or partner required to join! This class will teach you the basic 6-count and 8-count patterns as well as fundamentals of connection and footwork. We will also cover dance etiquette and how to groove with your partner! $10 flat fee, or $5 if it's your first time joining us.

    Wanna learn club dance but can’t join our Sunday sessions?

    You are invited to our Friday Club Dance Pop-Up session this Friday, 6:30-8:30PM at All the Way Up Studio.

    For this session, we will learn the basics of Waacking.

    This is for free, and it’s open to everyone and for all levels (beginners are welcome!). This will be a safe space to learn, explore, and meet new friends.

    Join 5 Seasons Swing at the Cherry Building (329 10th Ave SE, Cedar Rapids) for a beginner lesson at 7pm and a social dance from 8 - 10pm. $10 / person (cash or Venmo accepted). No experience is necessary, and no partner is required.

    Fun, frivolity, games, music, dancing...it's the complete package!! Hope to see you there.
