    Get ready to hit the dance floor! Learn the hottest line dances, master fun and easy-to-follow dance patterns, and connect with fellow dancers in a lively, welcoming atmosphere.

    This all-levels line dancing class features choreographed routines performed in unison, with everyone following a repeating sequence of steps while facing the same direction. Whether you're new to line dancing or have experience, you'll enjoy learning dances set to a variety of music genres, including hip hop, country, and rock. Come have fun, build your confidence, and get moving in a welcoming, energetic environment!

    $10.50 daily pass or included with Top Shape Gym Membership,

    No experience or partner required to join! This class will teach you the basic 6-count and 8-count patterns as well as fundamentals of connection and footwork. We will also cover dance etiquette and how to groove with your partner! $10 flat fee, or $5 if it's your first time joining us.

    Weekly lessons every Thursday!

    A new series of 4 lessons begins at the first of every month. The first Thursday of the month is the best time to start for beginners!

    7:00 - 7:45pm Beginner Lesson
    7:45 - 8:15pm Social Dance/Practice
    8:15 - 9:15pm Level 2 Lessons

    $10 per evening or $5 for students. Drop in - no need to register or bring a partner!

    Venue: The Masonic Lodge in downtown Iowa City (down the street from the public library)
